What is meditation?

Have you ever had a problem which you were not able to get out of your head, because you were thinking about it and replaying it over and over? Do you ever get excited about upcoming events that you can’t stop talking or dreaming about? Well whether you knew it or not- this is meditation mode.

Taking time out to consciously read, rehearse and reflect upon God’s word; will undoubtedly have a supernatural impact on your thinking, your attitude and your actions. Here are four reasons why you should make meditation your dedication.

Meditation will bring you mental elevation.
You can say goodbye to pulling your hair out or losing sleep from potentially debilitating situations or awful accusations. when you make meditation your resolution; you will gain mental elevation. In times of distress instead of circumstances being on top of you, you will be on top of them. Psalm 2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall have them in derision.

Meditation will give you superior vision
‘To be or not to be? that is the question’ It takes a superior vision to be; so as you let God’s dialogue in a superior vision will come out. You need not only rely on natural sight but spiritual insight will be available to you. Proverbs 29:18 where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

Meditation will give you mighty motivation
God’s word is powerful. When demotivation comes rushing in to keep you down; with the word of God rooted in your heart, you give yourself a winning chance, as it will quicken you and take charge; moving you from hopelessness to hopefulness. John 6:63 The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Meditation will bring you restoration.
There is a God that restores! Have you ever said, ‘I’ve gone through so much, I need double for my trouble?’ or do you ever imagine an improved YOU, where you become more productive and positive than you have ever been in your entire life. Joel 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
